Frequently Asked Questions

What insurances do you accept?

We no longer have any contracts with insurance companies, so we are self-pay for our office visits and in-house services. We are able to provide you with a form to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We are also able to file your insurance for outside labs and testing.

How much will insurance reimburse me?

That depends on your insurance. They have individual reimbursement policies, and we are unable to provide an estimate due to this.

Do I need to make an appointment?

We are a walk-in clinic so no appointment is needed.

Do you refill medications?

We can refill medications for current patients who have had a physical within one year. If you have been in for your annual physical within the year, have your pharmacy send our office a refill request. If you are not a current patient, we will recommend you come in for an office visit first so you can be evaluated.

Do you do labs?

Yes, we offer in-house lab testing and send-out lab testing. In house, we can do Flu, Covid, Strep, and urinalysis. If you have a lab order from another provider we can also draw those for you.

Does Urgent Care offer STD testing?

Yes, we offer STD testing as well as personal and discreet care. This is a sensitive area of medicine, and we intend to treat it seriously and with care. Along with testing we offer physical examinations and education for our patients.

Do you offer vaccinations?

The only vaccine we offer is Tetanus. For all other regularly scheduled vaccines, we would recommend your primary care or local health department.

Do you see children?

We are happy to treat pediatric patients on an urgent care basis! We always recommend pediatricians as the first line of healthcare for your child, but if they are in need of immediate care we are glad to serve your children.

Do you offer GYN care?

Yes all of our trained physicians offer breast and pelvic exams including pap smears for routine or urgent care.

How do I establish Primary Care?

If you would like to establish primary care with Uncommon Care, please check out our Primary Care page! It has all of the information you will need to establish care with us.
