How does the process of urgent care work with insurance coverage, particularly with plans like Medicaid and Medicare? Does UncommonCare facilities accept these insurance types?

We are credentialed with most major insurances. We would recommend you contact your insurance company to ensure that we are in network with your provider. Yes we accept Medicare, but solely on an Urgent Care basis! Click here to find out more about our urgent care services! Unfortunately we are unable to accept Medicaid as we are not credentialed.

Do you see people without insurance?

Yes we are glad to offer a full range of Self-Pay options for our patients! Please feel free to call our office to find out more about pricing and how we can serve you!

Do I need to make an appointment?

We are a Walk-In only clinic, so there is no need to make an appointment! As long as we’re open, we’re here to help you get better! See our operating hours here!

 

When does Urgent Care open?

UncommonCare is open during the following hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8am-6pm

Friday: 8am-5pm

Saturday: 8-2pm

Sunday: Closed

Do you refill medications?

Absolutely! If you are a regular patient of ours, have your pharmacy send us a refill request! If you are not a patient of ours, we will have you come in to the Office first, and we will evaluate you and see how we can best serve you! Click here to find out more about our primary care services!

Do you do X-rays?*

Yes we offer on-site X-ray imaging! All of our physicians are trained in preliminary x-ray readings, and we also send the images electronically to our radiologists off site for official readings and reports!

Do you do labs?

Yes we offer both in-house and send out lab testing! We offer in-house rapid flu, strep, and UTI testing. Blood testing is drawn in-house and then sent to our outside lab for processing. Most lab results are received next day!

Does Urgent Care offer STD testing?

Yes we offer a large panel of STD testing as well as personal and discrete care. This is a sensitive area of medicine, and we intend to treat it seriously and with care. Along with testing we offer physical examinations and education for our patients.

Do you offer vaccinations?

The only vaccines we offer are Tetanus and Flu. For all other regularly scheduled vaccines, we would recommend your primary care or local health department!

 

Do you see children?

We are happy to treat pediatric patients on an urgent care basis! We always recommend pediatricians as the first line of healthcare for your child, but if they are in need of immediate care we are glad to serve you!

Do you offer GYN care?

Yes all of our trained physicians offer breast and pelvic exams including pap smears for routine or urgent care! Please feel free to call our office for more information!
